Science in space is fun and some scientific experiments can become fascinating. Space is a challenging environment for the human body. Space missions have a unique beauty but the solar radiation expose astronauts to high risks. Many factors have a negative impact in microgravity: from muscle problems, bone loss, to the problems caused by exposure to high doses of radiation. Specific exercises and other strategies help astronauts to counteract some of the effects of microgravity.

To prepare astronauts for flight applies to health programs that seek to preserve them during space missions and after their return to Earth. Many of these programs extend its applicability for improving the treatment of patients on Earth.

About the ingredients of life in space whith teacher Matei Valentina over a virtual journey with the International Space Station astronauts.

The guest of Astronomy and Space Science Club was teacher Marin Bica which explained how our planet has become a planet of life and what are the conditions for life on planets in other solar systems.
